The Battle of Geonosis was a battle that took place just prior to the Clone Wars in 22 BBY on Star Wars Canon. After Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala were taken hostage by the Separatists Alliance and to be executed. Mace Windu led a Jedi task force of 200 Jedi to Geonosis however after battling they were out numbered but Yoda arrived to save the survivors. The Galactic Republic then won the battle.
