Walter Donovan (Julian Glover) is the main antagonist of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He was a rich American industrialist and collector of antiques who searches for the Red Skull in order to achieve immortality. He secretly works with the Nazis, and sends both Indiana Jones and his father Henry Jones, Sr. on the search for the Holy Grail without knowing his collaboration with the Nazi Germany. He shoots Henry and forces Indiana to clear the traps for him. After Indiana does so, Donovan and Dr. Elsa Schneider follow him into a place filled with cups, one of which is the Holy Grail. Elsa intentionally chooses a false grail, a golden grail, for Donovan, but after he drinks from it, he rapidly ages into dust, knowing that he has been tricked.
